Gear Requirements- The following requirements cover the gear all Urban Commandos must carry to the field. Each member of UC is responsible for the correct use and condition of all their equipment.

Eye protection- There are many acceptable types of eye-protection on the market today. Shooting glasses, paintball goggles, and airsoft specific goggles (mesh type) are all acceptable forms of eye-protection. Members are encouraged to test their eye-protection by firing a .2g bb at 400+ fps at a distance of 12 inches, prior to use. In the event the field hosting the skirmish requires specific eye-protection guidelines, it is the players’ responsibility to ensure their gear is in compliance.

BDU- The Urban Commandos only require that members wear some sort of military BDU, woodland camo preferred. Black, desert, and other camo is also acceptable. Bright orange hunting jackets, vests, and hats are no acceptable. Remember it is to your advantage to blend into the environment as much as possible, it is to every ones disadvantage when you don’t. Dress appropriate for weather conditions, but no shorts.

In the event the field hosting the skirmish requires specific BDU guidelines, it is the players’ responsibility to ensure their gear is in compliance.

Communications- All Urban Commands are encouraged to bring and use radio communications during skirmishes. The Motorola FRS radios are suggested, however other brands will do. Please make sure the brand of radio you use is capable of using sub-channels. Always bring extra batteries.

Weapons- Every Urban Commando must have a working AEG, GBB, EBB, or spring gun to participate in a skirmish. AEG’s are highly suggested. Each player is responsible for maintaining their own weapons to prevent failure and damage to the weapon. Players are expected to supply their own biodegradable bbs. It is also suggested that each member obtain a backup weapon, AEG’s do break down and it’s better to be prepared than to have to sit out and wait.

  • Urban commandos do not have a team limit for FPS, However, UC will abide by the host field FPS limits. Each member of UC is responsible for the compliance of their AEG. It is strongly suggested that UC members tune their weapons to 400 FPS or less.

  • Bayonets, and fixed blade knives are prohibited from the playing field, leave them in the staging area.

Miscellaneous- Each member is responsible for any miscellaneous items they may need during game play. Food, water, and medication is the responsibility of each member, unless arrangements are made with other team members before the skirmish.

Safety/Conduct- No member of Urban Commandos will compromise the safety of another individual for any reason at any time. The following list is not inclusive and any behavior not listed will be dealt with on an individual basis. Depending on the severity of the offense, Urban Commando governing bodies may impose sanctions up to and including excommunication from the team. In the event a UC member is asked to leave a field by the field administrator, the member will comply immediately. UC will investigate the situation, respond accordingly, and attempt to get the member back on the field (if appropriate).
